Compulsory Professional Development From January 1st 2009 REBA will commence compulsory Continuing Professional Development for all Real Estate Reps and Property Managers. WCPT appointed to deliver Sales Reps CPD in 2009
13th October 2008: WCPT has been appointed by the Real Estate and Business Agent's Supervisory Board (REBA) to deliver metropolitan Sales Representatives Mandatory CPD for 2009. WCPT has also been contracted to deliver CPD in Esperance and Northam. In addition we will be developing and administering the distance learning package for Licensed Agents, Sales Reps and Property Managers. Read the details here

WCPT Wins SASB contract Again!
In a dramatic vote of confidence on the quality of WCPT's training design and delivery, the Settlement Agent's Supervisory Board has awarded the contract for the writing and delivery of Settlement Agent's CPD in 2009 to WCPT. We will post our calendar of CPD events for Settlement Agents shortly.
Real Estate Sales Reps CPD
There are in excess of 12,000 sales reps in WA. From January 2009 Sales Reps will have to complete 10 Compulsory Professional Development points each year. That's right, each year! Three (3) points will be a REBA mandated session, the rest of the Seven (7) points can be gained from a REBA approved elective course. Be prepared - register your interest now for the 2009 year - we'll keep you posted on upcoming events that will make gaining your points a breeze!
Settlement Agents CPD Now on offer
WCPT is offering mandatory and elective CPD sessions for settlement agents. The next session is on 22nd September 2008 at 9:00AM. The topic for the two hour session will be Reconciliation of Trust Accounts and will be held at the Technology Park Function Centre, 2 Brodie Hall Drive, Bentley WA 6102 . Register now.
Mandatory CPD Now written
Following the failure of the original contractor to deliver a suitable mandatory CPD course, WCPT has written the mandatory CPD course for REBA. This exciting session's theme involves developing a culture of compliance. The first session was delivered by our team at the Perth Zoo function centre on 27th February. This session was extremely well received by attendees. See our CPD page for details on the next session dates.

REBA awards Compulsory Professional Development Training contract to West Coast Property Training!
In a ringing endorsement of the quality and professionalism of our real estate training programmes, the Real Estate and Business Agents Supervisory Board (REBA) has awarded a contract for CPD training for 2008 to West Coast Property Training. So in addition to our REBA approved elective CPD offerings we will now be providing a series of sessions next year for Mandatory CPD on behalf of the Board. This means more convenience for you. You can now go to one provider for all ten (10) CPD points you must accrue in 2008. Full details of our schedule of CPD sessions for 2008 will be available soon.
